The primary sources of financial support include:

Article Processing Charges (APC): Fees collected from accepted manuscripts support editorial assessment, peer-review administration, plagiarism screening, manuscript formatting, DOI registration, digital archiving, website maintenance, and online publication services.

Publisher Support: JAIEC receives operational and administrative support from Lyndon & Francis Publishing Group to ensure efficient journal management and long-term sustainability.

Academic Partnerships and Collaborations: The journal may receive non-commercial support from academic institutions, research centers, and professional organizations engaged in advancing artificial intelligence research and innovation.

Print Publication Revenue: Optional print subscriptions and hard-copy orders contribute toward printing and distribution expenses.

JAIEC maintains strict ethical standards and does not accept commercial sponsorships or funding arrangements that may compromise editorial objectivity, peer-review integrity, or research neutrality.

2. Fee Details for Authors

JAIEC follows a transparent and author-friendly publication fee structure to support the dissemination of high-quality research in artificial intelligence and related fields.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

APC for Accepted Papers: PKR 15,000 / USD 60

This fee covers:

• Editorial evaluation and manuscript processing
• Plagiarism screening
• Double-blind peer-review management
• Copyediting and typesetting
• DOI registration
• Online publication and hosting
• Digital preservation and indexing support

Submission Fee

No submission fee is charged. Authors may submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system without any upfront payment.

Optional Print Copies

Cost per Print Copy: PKR 2,000 / USD 10

Printed copies are available upon request and are not mandatory for publication.

Optional Fast-Track Review Service

Fast-Track Fee: PKR 10,000 / USD 40

Authors may request expedited processing, which provides an initial editorial decision within 7–10 working days.

Note: Fast-track processing accelerates review timelines but does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.

3. Waiver & Discount Policy

To encourage inclusive scholarly participation and support emerging researchers, JAIEC offers the following assistance programs:

• 50% APC discount for student authors upon submission of a valid student identification card.
• Partial or full APC waivers for researchers from low-income countries or authors without research funding, subject to editorial approval.
• Special discounts for invited papers, conference-associated submissions, and outstanding research contributions deemed of significant scientific value.

Requests for waivers or discounts should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
