Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for Next-Generation Intelligent IT Networks
Main Article Content
Abstract
Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has emerged as a transformative paradigm in modern IT networks, enabling programmability, centralized control, and dynamic resource allocation. SDN separates the control plane from the data plane, providing flexibility and scalability required for next-generation intelligent networks. This scholarly review explores SDN architectures, protocols, and frameworks that enhance network performance, reliability, and security. Additionally, the integration of SDN with emerging technologies such as Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing is examined. Key challenges, best practices, and future trends in SDN deployment for intelligent IT infrastructures are also discussed. [1–5]
