BlockchainBased Solutions for Secure Data Management in Cloud Computing
Main Article Content
Abstract
As cloud computing becomes ubiquitous, ensuring the security and integrity of data stored in the cloud has become a pressing concern. Blockchain technology offers promising solutions by providing decentralized, tamper-resistant ledgers. This paper investigates blockchain-based architectures and techniques for secure data management in cloud environments. We analyze consensus mechanisms, data encryption schemes, smart contracts, and access control strategies. Through simulation and case studies, we compare traditional cloud security models with blockchain-enhanced models in terms of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and performance. Two graphical analyses illustrate latency vs. transaction volume and the rate of data tampering under different threat scenarios. We conclude with design recommendations and a roadmap for integrating blockchain into real-world cloud infrastructures.
